So please, if anybody knows of a good plumber, so that this poor woman can be spared having to make anymore distressed calls to the emergency services, drop a line to: Lynne@LynneFeatherstone.org

Hmm ... the Fire Brigade said it's right to call them in such circumstances. Any particular reason you don't seem to think it's right to follow their advice? I think they've got a pretty good idea about when it is or isn't right to call them out :-)
ReplyDeleteHello again Mark. It's just a bit of fun, it is Xmas afterall, chill out, man.
ReplyDeleteWe're just making fun of a very daft story. NB. Are the fire brigade really 'our boys and girls in blue'? Don't they wear red? I am sure Lynne could set us straight on this crucial sartorial issue.
ReplyDeleteI think that even Lynne would be able to see the funny side of this.
ReplyDeletethere is also a serious side to this in terms of not putting people off calling 999 when they should. But there was some levity in my comment too :-)
ReplyDeleteI am flattered at getting a trio of responses too!
