In sheffield Green Party councillors have voted against kerb-side recycling. Green Party councillors voted against Lib Dem proposals to plant 10,000 new street trees that would help fight the effects of climate change.
A leading member of a Green Party (not GPEW) with candidates standing for the UK parliament, has been caught using VIP lounge, and being chauffeured in a limo just to travel between different terminals at Heathrow Airport, despite the availability of a free shuttle between terminals.
Now Jenny says no serious Green would contemplate the Lib Dems Green Tax Switch (which they pinched off the Canadian Green Party). The Northern Ireland Greens support a Green Tax Switch they are standing for the UK parliament - so they aren't real Greens.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247615769084489401.post-67013443314952742182009-06-27T13:23:10.211-07:002009-06-27T13:23:10.211-07:00Hello Anon, it would be nice to know your name?

But what happened when the Green Party got into government in Eire?

Opposition to incinerators and road-building disappeared overnight.
The Department of the Environment, headed by a Green Party minister announced that the M3 road project, routed through the historic area of the Hill of Tara, would go ahead after all.

During the election the Green Party was ardently demanding the complete abolition of the incinerator project; however, once in office the Greens took a somewhat different approach to the issue of incineration.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
